I don’t know how Matthew let, “Wood feels good in your hand” go.
Ronni, I don’t know either. I promise to do better next time.
(Actually, there’s a part in an upcoming show where I listened back to it and had to email Molly to say, “I CAN’T BELIEVE WE DIDN’T MAKE THIS OBVIOUS JOKE.” There will be some tense moments at our upcoming comedy license renewal hearing.)
Loved ‘carrot reclining on the board for its exfoliation’.. and many other parts of this show.
But why are you peeling your carrots?! Don’t you know that most of the nutrients are in the skin dude?! Same is true for potatoes but I will give you that sometimes a potato just has to be peeled.. You’ve gone down the hippie rankometer with that one (or am I just lazy?).

But I don’t bother to peel very young, fresh, skinny carrots.

The Y peeler is the way to go! I am left handed and I love how it doesn’t matter which hand you use with the Y. Plus it takes off long strips so you aren’t having to peel 1/2 inch of potato at a time.
