You both Ooohed in the same key, impressive!

In college, I took far too many liberties with energy drinks. There was the week in my senior year when I slept from about 7-9pm each day for five days straight, taking an exam/writing an essay by day, cramming/writing all night. About the second night in, I tried a Rockstar. Amazing stuff, one can kept me up all night, I felt great! The next night, I drank one. Nothing. I drank a second. I was asleep on my keyboard in about thirty minutes flat. AND I lost feeling in my pinkies. It could have been the fact that I wasn’t sleeping, but to this day, I choose to blame it on Rockstar.

I wonder what would happen if you made an ice cream float with Red Bull and a “Magnum” ice cream bar (saw it at the grocery store yesterday)?

I should have known better, every episode of your has me rolling on the floor, but this episode almost made me pee my pants from laughing so hard! Love it! This is by far one of my favourite podcasts!!!

Excellent, another hilariously inappropriate episode of Spilled Milk! But you guys missed one important energy drink (and one that I’m sure you would have had a lot of fun with)…Pimp Juice! Yes, I swear that Pimp Juice is a real thing :-)

Congratulations, Molly and Brandon! I think this is the first podcast in which you’ve dropped hints about the baby (but maybe I’m just a distracted listener).

I’ve never tried an energy drink either, so thanks for taking one for the team, guys. I thought Red Bull would be…red.

Matthew: YES! Ever since my first taste of Red Bull, I have been saying that I would love to drink a decaf version, because I love the flavor but I don’t love the jittery shakes.

Thank you for tasting those so we don’t have to! My college age son drinks something with the word “Monster” in it.

That reminds, over a year ago I heard another hilarious UK podcast about an ingredient in Red Bull(starting about 8 minutes in until about 27 minutes).

Yes! Red Bull smells and tastes like Flinstone’s Vitamins! (i.e. airborn/children’smediciney taste)

riye – I brought home a box of Magnum ice cream bars yesterday.. Expensive and not really worth it. But I showed it to my wife and she said “aren’t those condoms?”

I love your podcast & I got my husband hooked too. He thinks Red Bull tastes like Dimeatapp and I suspect that energy drinks are to today’s tweens what sour candies were to you guys. It makes it comforting for those awkward teens trying to get a jolt on a legal substance.

Thanks, Asta. I like your hypothesis, although I still think sour candies are better. Also, today’s music is noise, and, um, sexting? I’ve got nothing here. Today’s kids are a lot smarter than we were, so they can have their Red Bull.

Chris, you realize the baby isn’t Matthew’s, right? It’s Brandon’s. (Sounds like a soap opera.)

Also, at some point in the show Matthew and Molly wondered who these are targeted toward. They are targeted toward people whose palates stopped developing when they were nine years old. Like my co-worker who has a Pop Tart and a can of Dr. Pepper for breakfast every morning. These people are legion.

    Oh.My.

I can’t believe you subjected yourselves to this, even if it was hilarious. There used to be a woman on my bus to work who drank a can of RockStar every morning. I found the smell, even from a few seats away, horrifying.

Did you know that taurine, a key ingredient in many energy drinks, is an essential nutrient for cats and added to all cat foods? http://www.vetlord.org/taurine-is-essential-for-cats/

    Rrrowr.

Thank you for taking one for the team. I’ve never had an energy drink, though my college students are always trying to convince me they’re better than my preferred caffeine kick – Mt Dew.

Yup. Not a proud moment but it’s true
